HD Projector Set Up – Part 2
We have now decided the most appropriate method of adjusting the height of the HD projector if the intention is that the projector is being placed upon some sort of unit of furniture that may or may not be level and you still need to create a stable platform for the HD projector such that it is not disturbed by unexpected jolts and presumably is level as if it were not level the projected image would not be level which if you were watching a movie or feature film would make difficult viewing.
Other fitting considerations are ones which relate to HD projector placements which do not involve the projector sitting on a platform, be it a unit of furniture sitting in the centre of a room, or a specially designed platform suspended in some manner from the ceiling. This form of fitting would involve some form of arm attachment that may be bolted either to a wall, or more likely a ceiling. Weight is an important factor when considering whether this sort of placement is what you are interested in, especially as in doing so you must also consider the ability of the wall or the ceiling to take the weight of the HD projector without danger of falling off, or down. Remember you are likely to be making a significant investment in your HD projector and lack of forethought at this point might ruin all your plans to establish the home cinema arrangement of your dreams.
So check to ensure that your HD projector actually has a fitting capability that allows you to attach an arm, whether it be a straight arm or a hinged arm so that you can indeed set up yout HD projector as you wish to. Next you must take a close look at the mechanism by which the arm is attached to the HD projector. Again you really do not want to spend all that money on a brand new HD projector only to get it home and find that you are unable to fit it to the arm you have previously purchased. This would be a costly mistake.
That pretty much wraps up the considerations you ought to take account of in respect of the weight and dimensions of your HD projector when you are undertaking your research into which particular HD projector model you choose for the home cinema project of your dreams.
